Keeping the water flowing during the COVID-19 pandemic

(Updated July 20, 2020) Delivering water and power to the Valley is our top priority. This includes keeping our customers, employees and the communities we serve healthy and safe.

See what our power customers can expect from us at this time.

With that in mind, SRP’s irrigation services continue to operate. We are actively checking and following all guidance from the CDC. This includes taking steps to lessen the spread of the coronavirus.

What’s changed for irrigation customers?

For now, we are temporarily stopping paper schedules and notices. This means that:

  • Printed paper schedules will not be posted on neighborhood boards.
  • Private system repair notices will not be mailed.

You can reach us by phone, online or by email. Please note that irrigation deliveries will not be affected by this temporary change.

Water customers: stay connected and informed

To stay in the loop, we invite you to use My Account or download the SRP Water mobile app. You can use both to schedule water deliveries and access your account.

Plus, you can sign up for text and email alerts to receive the following notifications:

  • Water schedules
  • Order reminders
  • Information about private system issues that may require attention or repairs

In addition to the tools mentioned above, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can call (602) 236-3333 to schedule your water delivery.

How you can help

To help keep you and our employees healthy, we have asked our field personnel to practice social distancing with each other and our customers. During this time, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we adjust to a new normal while serving our communities.

With that being said, things may take a little longer than you’re used to. We thank you for your continued support during this time as we make every effort to respond to your needs.

SRP’s current water supply

We know that during this uncertain time customers are thinking about the reliable delivery of water and power. Rest assured, we have the practices and policies in place to make sure you don’t have to worry about those things.

In fact, the Salt and Verde river flows from this wet winter have filled SRP’s reservoirs to near capacity. Our water supply is in great shape this summer.

The SRP reservoir system is currently at 91% of capacity and rising. To put this in context, this is the fullest our reservoirs have been since the spring of 2010! See real-time data about the Salt and Verde river watersheds
