Construyendo una red m\u00e1s resiliente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Los clientes con termostatos inteligentes pueden unirse al Programa SRP Bring Your Own Thermostat Program\u2122 (BYOT)<\/a>, de SRP, un programa de respuesta a la demanda dise\u00f1ado para recompensarlos por reducir el consumo de electricidad durante per\u00edodos de alta demanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La respuesta a la demanda consiste en reducir o cambiar el consumo de electricidad durante las horas pico a cambio de ahorros en tu recibo.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A trav\u00e9s de un \"evento de conservaci\u00f3n\", el programa BYOT nos permite reducir la presi\u00f3n sobre la red. \u00bfQu\u00e9 significa esto exactamente?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imag\u00ednate esos d\u00edas de mucho calor en los que enciendes el aire acondicionado, pero no enfr\u00eda tu casa lo suficientemente r\u00e1pido. Ahora multiplica eso por un mill\u00f3n de hogares. La sobrecarga de la red se produce cuando todas las fuentes de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda funcionan a pleno rendimiento y son consumidas inmediatamente por todos los hogares.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es un evento de conservaci\u00f3n? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Un evento de conservaci\u00f3n es cuando tu termostato inteligente sube autom\u00e1ticamente la temperatura unos grados. Esto ocurre cuando la carga en nuestra red el\u00e9ctrica esta al m\u00e1ximo y, en pocas palabras, ayuda a darle un respiro a nuestra red.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00ed funciona: Durante un per\u00edodo de alta demanda, como una tarde calurosa de verano cuando todos tienen el aire acondicionado encendido, los termostatos inteligentes participantes subir\u00e1n autom\u00e1ticamente la temperatura programada unos grados.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los eventos de conservaci\u00f3n se llevan a cabo del 1 de mayo al 31 de octubre (excepto los d\u00edas festivos), entre el mediod\u00eda y las 9 p. m. No suelen durar m\u00e1s de tres horas.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y, por supuesto, siempre te avisaremos antes de que comiencen los eventos de conservaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estar\u00e1s al tanto y en control <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Siempre recibir\u00e1s una alerta antes de cada evento de conservaci\u00f3n para que puedas preenfriar tu hogar<\/a>. Una vez finalizado, tu termostato volver\u00e1 a su programaci\u00f3n normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfNo quieres participar? No hay problema. Puedes cancelar la suscripci\u00f3n a un evento en cualquier momento desde tu tel\u00e9fono, computadora o termostato.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
