El aumento de la seguridad, la sostenibilidad y la sombra, junto con la reducci\u00f3n del impacto de la isla de calor urbana, son la base del programa Right Tree Right Place (\u00e1rbol adecuado en el sitio adecuado) de SRP. La iniciativa, que es una asociaci\u00f3n entre SRP y las comunidades a las que presta servicios, surgi\u00f3 de la necesidad constante de que los equipos podaran o eliminaran miles de \u00e1rboles cada a\u00f1o porque invad\u00edan las l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los \u00e1rboles que crecen cerca de l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas presentan diversos riesgos de seguridad y suponen un riesgo a la fiabilidad del suministro el\u00e9ctrico. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las ramas que entran en contacto con l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas pueden provocar cortes de electricidad o incluso incendios. Esto suele deberse al viento o a las tormentas.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, el contacto directo o indirecto con l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas a\u00e9reas o subterr\u00e1neas durante la poda o eliminaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles y arbustos supone un riesgo de electrocuci\u00f3n. Debido a que esta labor puede ser bastante peligrosa, es mejor buscar ayuda, incluso contactar a expertos para marcar las l\u00edneas antes de excavar(en ingl\u00e9s). <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right Tree Right Place ayuda a proteger y preservar la integridad de las l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas y el suministro de energ\u00eda de SRP mientras mantiene a las comunidades seguras. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n fomenta el compromiso de la organizaci\u00f3n con la sostenibilidad y la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente. Por cada \u00e1rbol que se retira, los equipos de SRP plantan dos o tres nuevos en zonas como parques, patios de colegios, carreteras y otros espacios p\u00fablicos.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estos nuevos \u00e1rboles generan m\u00e1s sombra, capturan carbono en el aire y ayudan a reducir el efecto de isla de calor urbana, todo ello mientras crean comunidades m\u00e1s verdes y hermosas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevos \u00e1rboles, nuevas ra\u00edces  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Desde su lanzamiento en 2018, Right Tree Right Place ha retirado m\u00e1s de ,350 \u00e1rboles que supon\u00edan una amenaza para la seguridad y la fiabilidad el\u00e9ctrica en ciudades de todo el Valle. En su lugar, se han plantado m\u00e1s de 4,450 \u00e1rboles nuevos en zonas m\u00e1s seguras y adecuadas. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SRP se asocia cada a\u00f1o con una ciudad diferente de su \u00e1rea de servicio. Colaboraciones del pasado incluyen Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, Avondale, Peoria, Scottsdale, Chandler y Apache Junction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
