El Mes de la Herencia Nativa Americana celebra la historia y las contribuciones de las comunidades nativas en los Estados Unidos. Al honrar sus tradiciones, lenguas y ricas culturas, podemos mantener vivas sus historias a trav\u00e9s de futuras generaciones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empoderando a los empleados Nativos Americanos <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SRP promueve la concienciaci\u00f3n cultural a trav\u00e9s de uno de sus Grupos de Recursos para Empleados (ERG), N.A.T.I.V.E. (Native Americans Together In Vision & Empowerment). La mayor\u00eda de los miembros de N.A.T.I.V.E. comparten una identidad com\u00fan y sirven de puente entre SRP y la comunidad de Nativos Americanos.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una de las muchas formas en que el grupo de ERG ha influido en la comunidad es a trav\u00e9s de su socio sin fines de lucro Native Health of Phoenix<\/a>, que ofrece una amplia gama de programas de apoyo a la salud m\u00e9dica, dental y conductual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para honrar el Mes de la Herencia de los Nativos Americanos en SRP, N.A.T.I.V.E. organizar\u00e1 diversos eventos para empleados, como una venta de tacos Navajos y un discurso abierto con un representante de Gila River Indian Community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El vicepresidente de N.A.T.I.V.E., Tyson Y., inici\u00f3 su carrera en SRP hace casi 20 a\u00f1os y ha trabajado en diferentes \u00e1reas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda desde entonces.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apoyando a las comunidades tribales locales <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tyson creci\u00f3 en Holbrook, Arizona, y comenz\u00f3 su carrera en SRP en 2004. Empez\u00f3 en un puesto de principiante en la Estaci\u00f3n Generadora Navajo (NGS) y fue ascendiendo a lo largo de los a\u00f1os hasta llegar a su puesto actual de director de construcci\u00f3n y mantenimiento mec\u00e1nicos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando se enter\u00f3 de la existencia del grupo N.A.T.I.V.E. a trav\u00e9s de unos compa\u00f1eros de trabajo, Tyson qued\u00f3 asombrado de su participaci\u00f3n con las tribus locales de la comunidad. A lo largo de su carrera en SRP, ha visto c\u00f3mo aumentaba la implicaci\u00f3n de la empresa con las comunidades de Nativos Americanos a trav\u00e9s del voluntariado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
