A\u00fan cuando se han logrado grandes avances en el desarrollo de la energ\u00eda solar en Arizona, queda much\u00edsimo trabajo por hacer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por eso estamos dando pasos importantes hacia un futuro m\u00e1s limpio y ecol\u00f3gico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">West Line Solar&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En colaboraci\u00f3n con la Corporaci\u00f3n AES, SRP inaugur\u00f3 una nueva planta solar, West Line Solar, que generar\u00e1 100 megavatios (MW) de energ\u00eda solar. Meta recibi\u00f3 50 MW de energ\u00eda solar de esta planta, lo que deja 50 MW de energ\u00eda renovable disponible que SRP ofrece a clientes residenciales y peque\u00f1as empresas como parte de su nueva oferta de energ\u00eda solar. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CO Bar Solar&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La planta solar CO Bar Solar se ubica al noroeste de Flagstaff, Arizona. SRP se ha asociado con Cl\u0113nera, empresa desarrolladora de proyectos solares y de almacenamiento a gran escala. Esta ser\u00e1 la mayor instalaci\u00f3n solar contratada por SRP, ocupando hasta 7,000 acres de terreno en el condado de Coconino. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CO Bar Solar suministrar\u00e1 un total de casi 800 MW de energ\u00eda renovable a los clientes de SRP, suficiente para abastecer a 180,000 hogares. De los 300 MW, 200 MW de energ\u00eda solar se destinan al centro de datos de Meta en Mesa, lo que les ayuda a cumplir sus objetivos de energ\u00eda 100 % renovable y cero emisiones netas.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este es el proyecto solar y de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas m\u00e1s grande contratado por SRP. Para poner esta capacidad en perspectiva, la bater\u00eda del Centro Solar Eleven Mile puede almacenar suficiente energ\u00eda para abastecer a aproximadamente 67,500 hogares de tama\u00f1o medio durante cuatro horas.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parque Solar Brittlebush<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El Parque Solar Brittlebush, ubicado en Coolidge, Arizona, a\u00f1ade 200 MW de energ\u00eda solar a nuestra mezcla energ\u00e9tica. En colaboraci\u00f3n con Meta, este proyecto solar entr\u00f3 en funcionamiento en julio de 2024 para dar soporte a su centro de datos en Mesa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEste proyecto tambi\u00e9n nos acercar\u00e1 a alcanzar nuestro propio objetivo de reducir las emisiones en un 82 % para 2035, mientras proporcionamos energ\u00eda asequible y confiable a nuestros clientes\u201d, dijo Bobby Olsen,  director ejecutivo de planificaci\u00f3n de estrategia y sostenibilidad de SRP.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Copper Crossing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y de Energ\u00eda Copper Crossing, ubicado en Florence, Arizona, incluye una planta de generaci\u00f3n solar avanzada a escala de servicios p\u00fablicos capaz de generar hasta 55 MW de energ\u00eda solar en 270 acres. Mientras el sol proporciona una fuente abundante de energ\u00eda limpia, esta energ\u00eda debe utilizarse de inmediato o almacenarse en grandes bater\u00edas.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ah\u00ed es donde entran en juego los sistemas de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas a gran escala.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2022, anunciamos dos nuevos contratos para a\u00f1adir m\u00e1s almacenamiento en bater\u00edas a nuestro sistema el\u00e9ctrico, lo que elevar\u00e1 nuestro almacenamiento total en bater\u00edas a m\u00e1s de 1,100 MW para 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Battery Storage Innovation\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bs20SBt9lRs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sierra Estrella y Superstition&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SRP ha contratado a Plus Power para la puesta en marcha de un sistema de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas llamado Sierra Estrella. Este sistema, ya operativo, tiene una capacidad de 250 MW y una autonom\u00eda de cuatro horas, y est\u00e1 ubicado en Avondale, Arizona. Plus Power tambi\u00e9n puso en marcha un segundo sistema de almacenamiento llamado Superstition, con una capacidad de 90 MW y una autonom\u00eda de cuatro horas, ubicado en Gilbert.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los sistemas de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas como Sierra Estrella y Superstition ser\u00e1n excelentes para que SRP los utilice en su red durante los per\u00edodos de m\u00e1xima demanda de energ\u00eda, como las primeras horas de la noche, cuando las fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables pueden no estar disponibles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saint Battery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Con la ayuda de NextEra Energy Resources, se a\u00f1adir\u00e1 una bater\u00eda de 100 MW a la planta solar existente de 100 MW, Saint Solar Energy Center, en Coolidge, Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cComo parte de nuestro Plan de Sistema Integrado para 2035, SRP est\u00e1 construyendo un Arizona mejor con formas innovadoras de brindar a nuestros clientes energ\u00eda y agua confiables, asequibles y sostenibles\u201d, dijo Bobby Olsen, director ejecutivo de planificaci\u00f3n de estrategia y sostenibilidad de SRP. \u201cEsta bater\u00eda de carga solar es un ejemplo perfecto.
