Giving back to the Valley

As a community-based not-for-profit, SRP has served the Valley since before Arizona was a state. Today we continue this tradition through a variety of community outreach programs that support fellow nonprofits, teachers and more throughout the Valley.

The dedication and support of SRP employees is the driving force behind the programs’ successes. Find out more about what our employees were up to in 2018 and join us in giving back today, Arizona Gives Day.

Supporting Arizona nonprofits

SRP employees, along with their friends and family volunteered 45,618 hours at 241 nonprofits in 2018. They didn’t stop there, donating 296,000 cans of food and adopting nearly 1,200 angels through the Adopt-an-Angel program. They also gave $1.6 million directly from their own pocket.

Supporting education

Providing resources for Arizona’s educators has been incredibly rewarding. We continue to grow our educational programs and share our unique expertise in power, water and Arizona’s history.
