SRP has been named one of America’s Best Employers by Forbes, and #1 among Arizona-headquareted companies.
SRP partners with Tempe to plant over 450 trees, provides free trees to customers and revitalizes our forests.
In Arizona, we depend on winter snow runoff to flow through our northeastern mountains, valleys, rivers and streams — known as a watershed — into our reservoirs. When fire scorches the earth, water runs across the soil faster. This brings more dirt, sediment and other debris into our reservoirs, causing water quality and supply issues for communities across the state.
When we talk about energy efficiency, the focus is often about how saving energy will save you money. While it certainly will do that, there’s another benefit to energy efficiency that’s important to talk about, especially on Earth Day: it also saves the environment.
Started in 1982, the SRP Presidents’ Volunteer Spirit Award is given to employees who exemplify the importance of volunteerism at SRP.
