Your energy grid to get a major boost of solar
SRP customers will see an increase in solar thanks to a plan that will add 1,000 megawatts (MW) of new solar energy to our system by 2025. The plan will accelerate both the pace and the total amount of our solar energy resources by 700 MW compared to current resource plans during the same timeframe.
Storing solar energy for use after the sun goes down
The new Pinal Central Solar Energy Center (PCSEC) in Casa Grande, an integrated solar and battery storage system plant, stores clean energy produced during the day for use whenever energy demand increases.
