6 programs & resources to help SRP customers in times of need

(Updated July 20, 2020) We know how important it is for our customers to have power. We care about everyone’s safety and well-being. That’s why we have flexible payment plan options, programs and resources for SRP customers in place to help in times of need.  

1. Save $23 per month with the Economy Price Plan

Especially in the summer, energy can be a big expense. That’s even more true for a household on a tight budget. If this is true for you, you should know about the Economy Price Plan.

Each month, customers with limited incomes can get $23 applied to their SRP electric bills. All in all, you can save $276 a year on your SRP bill. 

Depending on how many people live in your home and how much everyone earns, you may qualify for this monthly discount. See if you qualify.  

2. Get help from our 24/7 customer service team

We understand that many of our customers have been, and continue to be, impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. SRP’s customer service team is here for you 24/7. They can work with you to set up a payment plan that fits your needs.  For those in need of help, they can connect you with a resource counselor.  

Money to help to cover your energy bill, and more

Our resource counselors work closely with community action agencies to provide financial help with utility costs and other critical needs. This can include things like:

  • Food
  • Medical care
  • Clothing
  • Shelter

3. Sign up a friend or family member to receive overdue bill alerts

Recently, we announced that our disconnect policy will resume Oct. 1. If your electric bill becomes past due, SRP can reach out to someone you trust. The SRP Safety Net program helps to protect against power shutoffs by keeping a loved one informed.

M-Power is a pay-as-you-go energy solution. It helps you to choose when, where and how often you pay for the energy you use – before you use it.

5. Access your account anytime, anywhere with the SRP Power app

Whether you’re at home or away, the SRP Power app gives you instant access to your SRP electric account. You can view your daily energy use, check your balance, sign up for account alerts and make payments at the touch of a button. Download the app now.

6. Stay on top of your account with helpful alerts

Managing your account is easier with text or email alerts. Sign up today and get notified when: 

  • A bill is available 
  • Payment has been received 
  • Payment is due soon
  • A bill becomes past due 
  • A weekly bill projection is available 
  • Your monthly bill may exceed a set budget 

Signing up for alerts is easy – simply update your contact information in My Account. You can also sign up family members or friends for account alerts. Just look for the “Alerts” option in the “My Profile & Settings tab.
